The school day/timings

School starts at 8.45am and finishes at 3pm for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 and 3.05pm for Key Stage 2.  There is no supervision before 8.35am so children should not arrive before this time. EYFS and KS1 children may come in from 8.35am to change their reading books. At home time we only release children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 to a known adult. High school-aged children should not collect EYFS and KS1 children. When children enter KS2, they are allowed to walk to and from school on their own with parental consent. Collective Worship takes place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10.00am-0.20am. Class Worship takes place in all classrooms at the same time on Thursdays. On Friday, the infants have a Celebration Worship from 9.00am to 9.20am, and the juniors have theirs at 2.20pm to 2.50pm.

LUNCH TIME

Lunch time is from 11.45am to 12.45pm for EYFS and Key Stage 1 and 12.00pm to 12.50pm for Key Stage 2.  Children may bring a healthy packed lunch and a drink in a carton, or order our own freshly cooked school dinners for £2 per day. Children may eat a healthy snack at play time (no chocolate, cereal bars – high sugar content - or crisps; fruit, yoghurt tubes and cheese are allowed). All infant (YR-Y2) pupils are entitled to a free school hot dinner (details available from the school office). No sweets, chocolate or fizzy drinks are allowed in school.  We have a lunch time play leader who organises different games for the children to play each day. All pupils have a morning and afternoon break, and EYFS pupils have frequent outdoor provision throughout the day outside of these break times.
