The school day/timings

Doors open: 8.35am for YR

                    8.40am for Y1-Y6.

School day: 8.45am - 3pm for infants

                   8.45am - 3.05pm for KS2.

There is no supervision before 8.35am so children should not arrive before this time. Children may change their reading books as they enter school. The doors close at 8.45am, which is when school officially starts, so children need to arrive at 8.40am to be ready to learn at 8.45am. After 8.45am, children need to enter via the school office.

At home time we only release children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 to a known adult. High school-aged children should not collect EYFS and KS1 children. When children enter KS2, they are allowed to walk to and from school on their own with parental consent. Collective Worship takes place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10.00am-10.20am. Class Worship takes place in KS2 classrooms at the same time on Thursdays, whilst the infants have a Singing Worship. On Friday, the infants have a Celebration Worship from 9.00am to 9.20am, and the juniors have theirs at 2.30pm to 3.00pm.

LUNCH TIME

Lunch time is from 11.45am to 12.45pm for EYFS; Key Stage 1 have theirs from 11.50am-12.50pm, and KS2 from 12.10pm to 1.00pm.  Children may bring a healthy packed lunch and a drink in a carton, or order our own freshly cooked school dinners for £2 per day. Children may eat a healthy snack at play time (no chocolate, cereal bars – high sugar content - or crisps; fruit, yoghurt tubes and cheese are allowed). All infant (YR-Y2) pupils are entitled to a free school hot dinner (details available from the school office). No sweets, chocolate or fizzy drinks are allowed in school.  We have lunch time play leaders who organise different games for the children to play each day. All pupils have a morning break, and infant classes have an afternoon break. EYFS pupils have frequent outdoor provision throughout the day outside of these break times.
